A general election was held on November 4, 2025 that included electing three School Board Trustees (Places 5, 6, 7) to serve on the Granbury ISD School Board for a three-year term. Unofficial results from voters in the four surrounding counties – Hood, Johnson, Parker and Somervell – have elected Dr. Calvin Lawrence (Place 5), Barbara Townsend (Place 6), and Stuart Neal (Place 7) to the Board. Election results are unofficial until canvassed, which will take place on Monday, November 17 at the regular monthly meeting.
